Save The Date: 2026 Huffines Institute for Sports Medicine and Human Performance

April 10, 2026

Dr. Ruben Burch, Vice President of Research and Professor of Engineering from Baylor University will give our keynote lecture. The topic of the event this year will be Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science to Transform Sports Medicine and Human Performance. The event will also feature several TAMU faculty members who will present their impressive research related to AI and human performance. This will be an exciting event, please save the date, Friday, April 10, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Motor Neuroscience 2026 Kinesiology Seminar

An exciting seminar is coming up this Friday! Dr. Brian Garner from Baylor University will discuss his research on simulated equine motion therapy to improve gait and balance in older adults. He's developed a patented mechanical horse-riding simulator and studied its applications with various groups.
