Simulating Space To Protect Human Health

A collaboration between Texas A&M’s College of Nursing and the Tactical Performance and Thermoregulation Lab is advancing research focused on how the human body responds to extreme environments. By simulating heat, cold and altered gravity conditions, researchers are helping shape safer futures for astronauts in space and improving human health and performance here on Earth.

An exciting seminar is coming up this Friday!

Dr. Brian Garner from Baylor University will discuss his research on simulated equine motion therapy to improve gait and balance in older adults. He's developed a patented mechanical horse-riding simulator and studied its applications with various groups.
